Equip Africa College gets Accredited by the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK)

Equip Africa College of Medical & Health Sciences is set to admit its inaugural Diploma in Nursing (KRCHN) students after getting accredited by the Nursing Council of Kenya(NCK). The Nursing Council of Kenya is a body corporate established by the Nurses Act Cap 257 of the Laws of Kenya to regulate standards of nursing education and practice.
The classes will be held within Equip Africa’s ultra-modern learning facilities in its main campus in Kitale. The facilities were hailed by the NCK as ”one of a kind” during the thorough inspection exercise.
The Nursing students will gain practical clinical experience from Equip Africa’s main teaching Hospital, Kitale County Referral Hospital, the largest referral facility in Western Kenya. Students will also deepen their practical learning in Bungoma County Referral Hospital, Webuye Sub-county Hospital, Endebess Sub-county Hospital, Matunda Sub-county Hospital and Tulwet Health Centre.
Applications have been invited from qualified candidates to fill 40 available vacancies on a first-come, first-served basis. The minimum entry requirements are ; KCSE mean grade of C(plain) and C(plain) in English / Kiswahili, C(Plain) in Biology, C-(Minus) in Chemistry / Mathematics / Physics.
